My name is Jerad Meterko. I am 22 years old, self-published author of A Night’s Passage, A Morning’s Arrival, and writer of this webpage. I’ve always had a fascination with science fiction and fantasy stories throughout my childhood, but I never dreamed that I could make one of my own. During my senior year of high school, curiosity and creativity sparked by the idea of this dream drove me to start writing the fragments of this series. Soon, I was quickly immersed inside of my own tale, writing as it formed in my mind. Before I knew it, I had created an entire world out of nothing.
After a few friends and family members read my first draft, the more publishing became a growing desire. Excited and terrified at the whole process, my story first made it to print on December 28th, 2016. A year later in 2017, I released the sequel to A Night’s Passage. The series is written for the young adult audience, ages anywhere from 13 and up, but many of my readers’ ages range much higher than the intended audience. I’m excited to bring the next chapters of my series to life in the near future, as well as expanding my website and social media presence. My second novel ‘A Morning’s Arrival’ will pick up right where the story left off, sending you back to the mind of Samuel Miles. Dive back into his perspective of the nameless and forgotten island, and experience the journey right alongside him.
